A REGIME TO STAY?
\nScenarios for (Post-) Putin Russia<\/h4>\n

Since Russia began its \u201cspecial operation\u201d in Ukraine last month, civil and other liberties-or whatever was left of them after 22 years of Vladimir Putin's rule-have been swiftly and brutally suppressed. At the time of this writing, Russian troops continue their onslaught on Kiev and other Ukrainian cities. The Russian president has put nuclear missiles on a ready alert in case his military actions get challenged by the United States and NATO. How long this new, fully dictatorial phase of Putinism could last? Can it continue even if we imagine that Vladimir Putin for one reason or another may lose his grip on power and the country. Raimund L\u00f6w, Nina Khrushcheva and Steven Lee Myers will discuss possible scenarios for Russia's present and future.<\/p>\n
