Gudrun Harrer<\/strong> is managing editor of the STANDARD and commentator for derStandard.at. Harrer studied Islamic Studies, Arabic Studies and Political Science and teaches Modern History and Politics of the Near and Middle East at the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna. University of Vienna<\/span><\/a> and at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna<\/span><\/a>.
