At the beginning of his life, he fought for Austria against the fascist regime, and as Federal Chancellor he successfully fought for a progressive Austria. Bruno Kreisky made society a great deal fairer, modernised it and humanised the world of work.<\/p>\n<p>The philosopher, writer and literary critic <strong>Franz Schuh<\/strong> wrote a remarkable speech on the occasion of his 110th birthday entitled NOBODY IS PERFECT.
