Supermarket EuropePresentation of the new book by Michel Reimon and Robert Misik, published by Czernin Verlag.

Europe is not emerging from the crisis. Since the continent was shaken by the banking crisis and the half-hearted attempts by politicians to overcome it, many people have mistrusted the European elite and its bureaucracy - and with good reason.
Robert Misik and Michel Reimon precisely trace the mechanisms and apparent constraints with which Europe's elite has gradually pushed back democracy since the outbreak of the financial crisis. Their analytical view of the situation reveals the influence of lobbies, banks and corporations on the European agenda in recent years.
The two authors also explain which levers could be used to make a difference and how much power each individual citizen has.

A plea for - a different - Europe!
