Exhibition

„Kreisky here!“

Under this headline, we are currently planning an exhibition in collaboration with the Bruno Kreisky Archive on the life and work of this outstanding Austrian politician. Bruno Kreisky lived in this historic villa at Armbrustergasse 15 in Vienna’s 19th district – home to a Lebanese cedar dating from around 1814, a natural monument – from 1951 until his death in 1990. It was in this living room and garden that Kreisky reflected, held discussions, drafted government statements and received international guests, intellectuals, cultural figures and politicians.
