Bashir Bashir

Born 1976 in Sakhnin, Associate Professor at The Open University of Israel, Senior Research Fellow at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute.

Dr. Bashir's research focuses on questions of democratic theory, nationalism and citizenship studies, and reconciliation politics. The emphasis is on connecting Holocaust and Nakba remembrance and developing binational approaches for equitable coexistence in Palestine/Israel.
