CAROLIN EMCKE
AGAINST HATE

"I don't want to see the new desire for uninhibited hatred normalised," writes Carolin Emcke. Her book "Against Hate" counters the climate of fanaticism and the growing contempt for all deviations: "Only with the courage to contradict hate and the desire to endure and negotiate diversity can democracy be realised."
The German Book Trade has honoured this courage with the 2016 Peace Prize.
