Marie-Christine Heinze in conversation with Gudrun Harrer

10 years after the uprisings, Yemen is one of the countries of the ‚Arabellion‘ that has descended into a civil war with regional involvement. For six years now, different political factions have been fighting each other in Yemen, while the civilian population is starving and can hardly hope that the wishes, dreams and goals of 2011 will be fulfilled for them or their children. In this dialogue, we want to discuss the developments in Yemen since 2011 and try to better understand the current conflict in the country. But we also want to return to the goals of the revolutionaries of 2011 and think together about what needs to happen so that future generations can perhaps come a little closer to them again.
