has been awarded annually by the Karl Renner Institute and the social democratic educational organisation since 1993.
Political books, authors and publishers are honoured in the spirit of Bruno Kreisky's life's work.

Bruno Kreisky Book Prize

The main prize for the political book 2016 to Branko Milanović for „Die ungleiche Welt. Migration, the One Percent and the Future of the Middle Class“, Suhrkamp 2016, was presented at the Vienna Chamber of Labour on 26 January.
