The occasion for the discussion is the recently published book „Global Female Future“ by Kremayr& Scheriau (ed.: A. Ernst, U. Lunacek, G. Neyer, R. Zechner, A. Zelinka). The anthology takes a look at 40 years of feminist debates in politics, business, reproduction, economics and ecology - told in exemplary fashion by and with authors from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Press reviews:
„Overall, the volume provides a necessary orientation in a time of rapidly changing geopolitical constellations: The contributions situate knowledge and commitment in terms of time and space, they impressively identify current focal points, provide many approaches and inform about applied projects that show that things could and should be done differently.“
Sieglinde Rosenberger, Falter
„The occasional dialogues between the generations, which show how the old combines with the new, but also how the younger generation differentiates itself from its elders, are both enlightening and pleasant to read.“ Sieglinde Rosenberger, Falter
„This anthology is of interest to anyone who wants to gain an insight into feminist initiatives around the world, including Austria and Germany.“ Hanna Ronzheimer, Ö1
