INSIGHT INTO THE MIND OF THE RUSSIAN OPPOSITION

The Russian opposition questions the reaction to Putin's actions in the West. Are sanctions productive? And if so, which ones? Since the US has broadened the sanctions list against individuals the business and political elite around President Putin is in panic. Is this good or bad news for the Russian people? What would be the appropriate way to fight corruption, intervention in Western politics and military intervention in the Ukraine or the Middle East?
Leonid Volkov, a Yale - Maurice R. Greenberg Fellow, was campaign manager of Russia's opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Like Navalny Volkov is a member of the Progress Party and the Anti-corruption Foundation and in his talk will give insight into the mind of the Russian opposition.
