Robert Misik in conversation with Kathrina Rogenhofer
NOTHING CHANGES, EVERYTHING CHANGES
Why we need to fight for our planet now

She brought „Fridays For Future“ to Vienna and is the spokesperson for the climate referendum; she is 27, the face of climate protection in Austria and wholeheartedly involved. Katharina Rogenhofer, a biology graduate, has an impressive knowledge of facts on the environment and the climate crisis. She knows the connections between ecology, economy and politics - especially in difficult pandemic times - and knows how to explain them simply, but never simplistically. She works with political players at national and international level. She talks to Robert Misik about her latest book „If nothing changes, everything changes“, an impressive plea for a Green New Deal. Rogenhofer takes us on a journey - committed, unabashed and so personal that you have to follow her.

Katharina Rogenhofer, born in Vienna in 1994, studied zoology at the University of Vienna and sustainability and environmental management at Oxford. In 2018, she and other activists brought the „Fridays for Future“ movement to Austria. In 2019, she took over the leadership of the climate referendum, pursuing the goal of building political pressure for a climate-friendly future.
