Ulrike Guérot in dialogue with Franz Fischler

NOTHING WILL REMAIN AS IT WAS?
Europe after the crisis. A journey through time

Extraordinary measures are ordered in times of crisis. The state functions and guides us through - society is moving closer together throughout Europe, solidarity is the order of the day, but the EU seems incapable of acting, the damage to society and the economy is enormous. The question is: what comes next? Will there be a “back to normal”, to the single market, to open borders? What will happen to the great European peace project? And what will we remember? Of the fact that we helped each other or of the fact that we let each other down?
Ulrike Guérot, a long-standing expert on Europe, explores the question of what a #PostCoronaEurope should look like with former Austrian EU Commissioner and experienced European politician Franz Fischler. And talks to him about her new book.
