Jean Asselborn
, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Minister for Immigration of Luxembourg.
Jean Asselborn has been a member of the Luxembourg government since 2004 and is currently the longest-serving Foreign and European Affairs Minister in the European Union. He was also Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg from 2004 to 2007.
From 1982 to 2004, he was mayor of his native town of Steinfort, and was first elected to the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies in 1984, serving as its Vice-President from 1999 to 2004.
Jean Asselborn was Chairman of the Luxembourg Socialist Labour Party (LSAP) from 1997 to 2004 and Vice-President of the Party of European Socialists (PES) from 2000 to 2004.

Andreas Schieder, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council, lead candidate of the SPÖ for the European Parliament elections.
From 2013 to 2018, Andreas Schieder was SPÖ parliamentary group leader in the National Council, and from 2008 to 2013 he was State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance. He was first sworn in as a member of the National Council in 2006, before which he was a member of the Vienna state parliament and local councillor from 1997. He has been district chairman of the SPÖ Penzing since 2002.
From 1997 to 1999 Andreas Schieder was President of the European Young Socialists (ECOSY) and from 1994 to 1997 Vice President of the Socialist Youth International (IUSY).

Ulrike Guérot, Political scientist and journalist, Head of the Department of European Politics and Democracy Research at Danube University Krems, founder of the European Democracy Lab in Berlin. She previously worked in European think tanks in Paris, Brussels, London, Washington and Berlin.
