Book Vienna 19: PATTERNS - THEORY OF THE DIGITAL SOCIETY

Armin Nassehi
Patterns - Theory of the digital society
We think that the triumph of digital technology has revolutionised the world.
Armin Nassehi, one of the most influential sociologists of our time, is not so sure. In a new book, Nassehi attempts to ground digital technology in the structure of modern society itself. He develops the thesis that certain social structures form the material from which digitalisation draws its potential.
