SAHRA WAGENKNECHT
WEALTH WITHOUT GREED
How we save ourselves from capitalism

Moderation
Robert Misik
, journalist and author

»It's time to turn away from capitalism,« says Sahra Wagenknecht. Because capitalism is no longer as innovative as it pretends to be. For decades, we have made little progress in solving the major issues of the future - from a climate-friendly energy transition to sustainable circular production. For the majority, life is not getting better, but harder.

It is time for a creative, innovative economy with small-scale structures, more competition and functioning markets, instead of an economic feudalism in which performance counts less and less, while origin and heritage become increasingly important.
Sahra Wagenknecht demands
- a different constitution of economic property,
- the democratisation of access to capital and
- the unbundling of huge corporations whose power destroys fair competition and democracy.
- Rewarding talent and genuine performance and promoting founders with good ideas regardless of their background.
With her book, Wagenknecht opens up a political discussion about new forms of ownership and the forgotten ideals of the Enlightenment. She presents a perceptive analysis of the existing economic order and shows steps towards a democratically organised community that no longer allows anyone to enrich themselves at the expense of others.
