SOLIDARITY - AN INSTIGATION TO HUMANITY

MICHAEL LANDAU
Our world has cracked. It is spinning faster today than it did just a few years ago. Suffering, hunger, wars, crises - but also the question of what all this hardship has to do with us. In a globalised world, Syria is in our front garden, Ukraine is in our neighbourhood and we share our living room with more than a million Austrians at risk of poverty. How can I help without despairing? What can I believe in at a time when not only banks and entire countries are in crisis, but also the belief that a better world is possible? Caritas President Michael Landau takes us to the margins of society and to the margins of life. He makes it clear what is important in an increasingly complex world: solidarity, courage and the willingness of each and every individual to help build a fairer world. Because the real key to a happy life is not to worry only about one's own happiness, but also about the happiness of others.
