TACKLE IT!
Solidarity, courage and empathy in politics

As mayor of Traiskirchen, he demonstrates how politics is not just done „for the people“ - as it is often called - but how, together with the citizens, a community can be created that holds together - and is then proud of it. Andreas Babler calls this thinking politics „from the bottom up“ again. In the Lower Austrian state election campaign, he threw his hat into the ring with a preferential voting campaign. Nationwide, he has long since shone beyond his home town as someone who credibly embodies left-wing values.

In an interview with Robert Misik, Babler discusses how the great guiding principle of a society of free and equal solidarity can once again be turned into a gripping image, into the identity of a social democracy that is not crushed by the chatter of excitement and does not flutter like a flag in the wind.
