Keynote speech followed by a discussion
The education policy of the Bruno Kreisky era laid the foundation for significant reforms in Austria and many successful educational biographies in this country. Since then, the challenges internationally and in Austria have not diminished: Globalisation and digitalisation, mobility, migration, diversity, challenges to democracy and human rights are just some of the issues. Together with the partners mentioned above, the Bruno Kreisky Forum is organising „Dialogues at Stephansplatz“ the series „Sustainable educational visions between aspiration and reality“. We want to discuss the future of education, images of people, knowledge markets and structures with you and discuss new approaches.
Our first guest is Dr Iris Rauskala.
Dr Iris Rauskala, Rector of the Ludwigsburg University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Finance (Germany) since December 2021
Former Federal Minister (June 2019-January 2020), subsequently Head of the Presidential Department and CDO (Chief Digital Officer). Studied International Economics at the Leopold-Franzens-University Innsbruck with specialisation in the public sector, doctorate in 2006.
