THE FUTURE OF REMEMBRANCE - PLURALITY, PRACTICE, SOLIDARITY

Panel discussion with subsequent discussion in small groups
THE FUTURE OF REMEMBRANCE - PLURALITY, PRACTICE, SOLIDARITY
Right-wing extremist narratives are gaining influence, social tensions are increasing - making the question all the more urgent: How can remembrance be understood and lived as a political practice today? What forms of a democratic culture of remembrance are needed and how can new networks of solidarity be established?
The evening begins with a panel discussion that opens up key questions: How does a society tell its story? Who remembers? How? Why? And what remains untold?
The invited guests will contribute intersectional, activist and artistic perspectives. In subsequent moderated small groups, all participants are invited to exchange ideas, network and think about new alliances of remembrance.
