Focus Areas
The world has become more confusing; the challenges of the present and future seem almost impossible to overcome with the experiences of the past. And yet, there have been and still are alternatives to hatred, marginalisation and destruction, innovative achievements to promote the economy, welfare and the climate in equal measure, ways to achieve a ceasefire, diplomacy, security and peace.
In these focal points, we deal with fundamental topics and yet also address current developments. Here we address pressing issues, provide impetus, present approaches for action and negotiate proposed solutions.
Interdisciplinary thinking, networked action, historically aware change is our method.
Our Curators, experts from the Committees of the Bruno Kreisky Forum and beyond, analyse and work on current issues in Events, as well as in innovative forums and formats. Our Programmes are opportunities for analogue encounters and „best practice“ experiences.
In all of our focus areas, our task is to counteract polarisation and the digital and social „echo chambers“ through concrete dialogue and to show young people in particular that the „Kreisky method“ works!
