70 YEARS OF MICHAEL HÄUPL

A special event took place at the Kreisky Forum on 12 September 2019. Together with Mayor Michael Ludwig, we hosted a late summer evening in our garden to celebrate the 70th birthday of Michael Häupl, the long-serving and legendary mayor and governor of Vienna. Under Häupl's motto „Mei Wien is ned deppat!“, numerous friends, companions and media representatives accepted the invitation.

The welcoming address by our founding and honorary president and former Federal Chancellor Franz Vranitzky was followed by a speech by Michael Ludwig, a talk with Gitti Ederer, Renate Brauner. Grete Laska and Rudolf Edlinger. The highlight was a discussion between the journalist Herbert Lackner and Michael Häupl. The evening was hosted by the wonderful presenter Sonja Kato.

We congratulate Michael Häupl once again and wish him all the best for the new decade of his life!
