Barbara Prainsack, Vice-President of the Kreisky Forum, appointed member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences

The Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) admitted 46 new members to its ranks on 26 March 2026. This includes political scientist Barbara Prainsack from the University of Vienna. Barbara Prainsack was a member of the scientific advisory board of the Bruno Kreisky Forum from 2022 to 2024 and subsequently moved to the board, where she currently serves as Vice-President.
