The „Dialogues at Stephansplatz“ discussion series was dedicated to a current education policy topic in a fully booked event on 5 May 2026: „What are the prospects for a six-year primary school? Sustainable educational visions between aspiration and reality.“

Keynote speakers Rector Horst Biedermann from the University of Teacher Education St. Gallen/CH, Vienna's Director of Education Elisabeth Fuchs and the Rector of the KPH Vienna/Lower Austria, Ulrike Greiner, discussed development perspectives for Austria. The discussion was moderated by economist Birgit Niessner, who is particularly active in the field of business education. The evening was organised in cooperation with the Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue.
