In memory of Prof Arnold Schmidt

Dr Arnold Schmidt, Professor Emeritus at TU Wien and founder of the Photonics Institute, passed away on 5 July 2024 after a long illness.
Our sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones. The Kreisky Forum will remember Arnold Schmidt with respect and appreciation.

Arnold Schmidt has been a member of the scientific advisory board chaired by Prof Dr Dr Oliver Rathkolb since its foundation and in this capacity has held numerous scientific discussions at the Kreisky Forum.
