From 21-23 July 2016, another NOW conference took place in Athens, organised by our cooperation partner Act.Now. This time, the focus was on the implementation of the EU-Turkey agreement and the challenges for the affected municipalities and cities. During the three-day conference, mayors, NGO representatives, experts and refugees discussed the current situation and developed insights for further agreements.
The conference was organised by Hannes Swoboda, former member of the European Parliament and board member of the Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue.
