Middle East expert Hamzawy: "There can be no question of US pressure on Israel"

Current US foreign policy must be seen as President Trump understands it, says Amr Hamzawy: as a "means of promoting American interests"

Amr Hamzawy, who is the Middle East Programme of the renowned Carnegie Think Tank in Washington, was recently invited by the Bruno Kreisky Forum in Vienna to speak at an event moderated by STANDARD editor Gudrun Harrer. "There can be no question of the USA putting pressure on Israel at the moment," he said in the STANDARD interview.
