The Big Beginner's Feeling

Our curator Robert Misik has written a new book. „The great beginner's feeling. Modernity, Zeitgeist, Revolution“ will be published in mid-May 2022 in the edition suhrkamp. Misik describes how revolutionary ideas, stylistic revolutions in art, aesthetic avant-gardes and radical politics have mutually influenced each other over the past 200 years. The book was written in the last two years, but is, as Robert Misik himself says, "somehow also the result of more than 40 years of reading and alert contemporaneity".

The presentation will take place on 8 June 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Kreisky Forum!
