In July 2018, the Israeli Knesset approved the Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People. This controversial law has been generating heated debates among Israeli, Jewish and Palestinian circles. This public talk will discuss the implications of the law on the future of Israeli politics, the two-state solution and prospects for peace and decolonization, the status of the Palestinians citizens of Israel and the relationship between world Jewry and the state of Israel.
