HOW THE NEW PLURALISATION IS CHANGING US ALL
Diversity changes everyone, whether we like it or not. What does it mean for the individual to live in a pluralised society? Every culture stands alongside others, there is no longer a self-evident affiliation. But what is a pluralised society anyway? And what does it mean for the individual to live in such a society? The external perspective - that things could always be different, that you could believe something different, live differently - is part of every culture today. And this change affects everyone. It changes our relationship to the community, to our own identity. This thesis is applied to various topics, from the politics of integration and the definition of the concept of home to the debates surrounding religious symbols
