Irene Giner Reichl

Dr Irene Giner-Reichl has been a member of Austria's Senior Foreign Service since 1982. She was Austria's ambassador in Beijing from 2012 to July 2017 and has been ambassador in Brasilia since then.
Giner Reichl is President of the Global Forum on Sustainable Energy and on the board of the international policy network REN21 for the promotion of renewable energy sources.
Her work focuses on sustainable development and global issues, development cooperation, international cooperation on energy and gender.
Irene Giner Reichl is the author of articles and non-fiction books on sustainability, development and spirituality.
